Coming Up in May...

SSR will be running a whole host of creative activities at The Hive and The Hub during the month of May, in the run-up to celebrating Refugee Week (June 17th - 23rd). These include textile printing, paper crafts, print & collage, woodcraft and weaving. We're looking forward to seeing and sharing the results!

The Hive is also holding its very popular Street Festival over the May Bank Holiday (May 27th), offering free family fun for all from 11am to 3pm.

Hive CEO Katie Jennings said: "Anyone who has attended our street festivals know that we like to fill the day with lots of activity and creativity. We are proud to offer the town and our local community a diverse event that is open to everyone and free to attend."

This is The Hive’s sixth street festival, funded with thanks to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) for Community and Place, managed by Shropshire Council, and by Shropshire Visual Art Network (VAN).
